10:10 Blog Circle - April 2016

It has been quite a crazy little month. Greg has gone back to work in Idaho and Daylynne is with his dad so I am back to being a part time single mom and missing my eldest like mad. Still loving the weather here in Arizona though. I have been very intrigued by the weeds in the yard this past month, I just love a good misunderstood flower. I also had an amazing blog feature with A Photographer's Chronicle, follow the link if you would like to read it (I put a lot of heart into that interview teehee) So very honored to have been asked to be their feature. So without further ado, here are my top 10 images from the past month. Don't forget to follow the circle all the way around to see some more AMAZING work from my dear friends!

As always thank you all so much for your support and for following along on My Artistic Journey.

New Space

If you are a dreamer come in
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar
A hoper, a pray-er, a magic-bean-buyer
If you’re a pretender come sit by my fire
For we have some flax golden tales to spin
Come in!
Come in!
— Shel Silberstein

In Awe

‘After all,’ Anne had said to Marilla once, ‘I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happened but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string.’
— L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Avonlea

Last Light of Day

To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. . . I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
— Elliott Erwitt

Misunderstood Flowers of AZ volume 3

Be the light. . . in the dark, let it shine on through. When you’re searching for your way, find the light inside of you.
— Tiffany Alvord

So come with me, where dreams are born, and time is never planned. Just think of happy things, and your heart will fly on wings, forever, in Never Never Land!
— J.M Barrie, Peter Pan

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it
